Bond Fact #6: If the bond passes, what will the district do with the funds that are not spent on the loan payment?

• Maintain the 3-6 month fund balance threshold
• Teacher salaries back on their step and review staffing patterns

Bond Fact #5: What is the ballot language?
THE ISSUANCE OF $3,700,000 OF SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS REFUNDING ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THE DISTRICT’S OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE TAX NOTES, TAXABLE SERIES 2024 ISSUED IN THE ORIGINAL PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $3,375,000, AND THE LEVYING OF A TAX SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON THE BONDS. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

A vote “For” is a vote to pass the bond.
A vote “Against” is a vote to fail the bond.

Bond Fact #2: The #1 reason the district is pursuing a bond to “refinance” debt is to free-up funds on the operation side of the district’s budget. This could free-up approximately $400,000-$650,000 annually that would be spent on operating the district.

Game Day Information for Spearman this evening
-Visiting Fans may park in the primary student parking lot on the Northeast side of Spearman High School
-Gate entry is cash only. $5: Adults, $3: Students
-Only personnel directly involved with the football team is allowed on the field at any time
-No spectators on the field after the game.

Today is pep rally day for JH! An update to the schedule, the pep rally will start at 2:55. We will let begin to let in community members at 2:45. Thank you and LETS GO CATS!
